Boy saved

EMERGENCY services have rescued a teenager who was trapped between rocks in the state’s Great Southern yesterday.

About 1.45pm on Sunday police were called regarding a person trapped between two large rocks at Monkey Rock near Denmark.
Denmark Police, St John Ambulance and State Emergency Service volunteers went to the scene.
There, they found a 14-year-old boy stuck between rocks and with what appeared to be a dislocated shoulder.
The SES volunteers freed the teen by lifting him to the top of the rocks.
He was taken to Denmark Hospital by St John Ambulance for a check-up.
